i-zayaa:

A short laugh emited from his lips. “I suppose it doesn’t. But the answer can tell me more about you.” 

He brought a hand to his mouth, fingers pressing gently against his lips as he thought about the way to respond. “I’m not fond of religion. I see no need for it. If one wants to be spiritual, you don’t need a religion for that. And I don’t particularly believe in any God. There’s no proof of a higher power. Though, I’m not denying that there isn’t. You can say, I believe I’m the God of my own life.”

“I don’t think I want you knowing too much more about me.” Letting an awkward laugh slip out.

“Hm. That’s an interesting way to see it.” There seemed to be more to it, but she wasn’t sure she wanted to know. ”So do you control your own ‘destiny’ or do you not believe in that?” She knew that some didn’t believe in destiny or fate or anything of that sort.
